Warden is run by T.A.G (tactical.advanced.gaming), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. These terms are written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask before you subscribe.
Warden connects to your game server's BattlEye RCON interface and gives you a web panel and an optional Discord bot to read chat, see players, broadcast messages, kick, ban, and receive alerts. It is a tool for administering servers you already control.
Warden is provided as-is, with no guaranteed uptime. It is a small independent product, not an enterprise monitoring platform, and it is priced accordingly. Alerts are a convenience and not a guarantee: if Warden is down, or your network is down, an alert may never arrive.
Do not rely on it as your only safeguard against server downtime.
We are not liable for losses arising from the use of Warden, including lost players, lost donations, lost game data, or actions taken by your own admins through the panel. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous three months. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will refund any unused portion of what you have paid.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
T.A.G is the data controller. Here is everything we hold and why.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | To identify your account and contact you about it | Until you delete the account |
| Your password | Sign-in. Stored only as a scrypt hash — we cannot read it | Until you delete the account |
| Your servers' RCON host, port and password | To connect to your servers. The password is encrypted with a key held outside the database | Until you remove the server |
| Server activity: chat, joins, leaves, admin actions | To show you the live feed and recent history | Rolling window, then discarded |
| Discord server and channel id, if you link one | To post alerts and accept commands | Until you unlink |
| Stripe customer and subscription id | To know what you are subscribed to | As long as required for accounting |
On servers we operate in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Stripe processes payments and has its own privacy policy.
Warden shows player names and in-game chat from your server. Those players are your community and you are the controller of that data — telling them their chat is logged is your responsibility as the server owner. We process it only to display it to you, and it is discarded on a rolling basis.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Deleting your account removes your servers, stored credentials and Discord links immediately. Ask via the contact route below and we will action it within 30 days. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
One, and only after you sign in: a session cookie so you stay signed in. No tracking cookies, so no cookie banner.
Cancel any time from the Billing link in the panel, or by asking us. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Nothing is deleted the moment you cancel.
If Warden is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. No form and no argument.
After 14 days, subscriptions are not refunded for the current month as a matter of course — but if the service was substantially broken for a meaningful part of the month, ask, and we will refund it. We would rather do that than argue about £6.
This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Your account drops to the Basic features until the payment succeeds. Nothing is deleted, your servers stay configured, and you are not locked out.
The fastest route is Discord, where you will usually get an answer the same evening:
For anything about your data — a copy, a correction, or deletion — either route is fine, and we will confirm when it is done.
