Your BattlEye RCON details — the IP, the RCON port and the password from
your BEServer.cfg. Warden checks them the moment you add a
server, so you know straight away if they are wrong rather than staring
at an empty screen.
It is encrypted with a key stored outside the database, so a stolen database file is not a stolen fleet of servers. Your account password is never stored at all, only a scrypt hash.

Warden by T.A.G is hosted: it stays connected when your PC is off, so the downtime alert reaches you at work and chat keeps being watched overnight. Every admin on your team signs in from their own phone rather than sharing one desktop. If a free desktop tool covers what you need, use it — this is for teams who want it running all the time.
Not from RCON — on current DayZ, BattlEye RCON never carries what players
type. Every line of Direct and Global chat is in your server's admin log
(the .ADM file), so Warden reads it from there using the FTP
details your host already gives you for file access. Read-only, and
nothing is installed on your server.
A desktop RCON tool only works while your PC is on and you are sat at it, and only for you. Warden runs all the time: it watches your servers when nobody is looking, sends the downtime and keyword alerts to Discord or your phone, and every admin on your team signs in from their own phone with their own login.
